New poem in Divinations Magazine
My poem «The Blind Bride» – prompted by Séance, the Stephen Mackey painting on the left – has been published in the inaugural issue of Divinations Magazine.
Essentially, a Guillermo del Toro film crammed into eight lines.
The púca at New Writing
A chapter and a half from Son of the Country have been posted on New Writing. It’s about MacPheilimidh, a mathematics-obsessed púca (whom alert readers may recognise from Flann O’Brian’s comic masterpiece, At-Swim-Two-Birds).
